Brad Ruddick

I have worked in football for over 10 years and have gained expertise in the coaching industry through working with a number of clubs. Having started my coaching career with St Mirren and Celtic Football Club. Working within the girls academy, boys academy and domestic and international soccer academy I developed a broad range of experience throughout the Club. Working alongside some fantastic coaches, I had worked internationally representing the club in, New Zealand, USA, Sweden, Ireland and UK. I then furthered my international experience working with International Football Academy in the UAE. Starting off as head coach, I then went on to become the academy manager for the full club. Most recently my coaching experience was working with Hamilton Football Club for a short spell within the boys academy and then Glasgow City. I have developed the full junior and senior curriculum with the club and also helped design and create the first team game model. Having worked with all age groups, U18s, U16s, U13s and first team, my role within the club now works with a coach development and scouting capacity. I have then since become the CEO and Founder of Football Focused. Alongside coaching, I have undergone my HND, Bsc, Hons and Msg in sports performance and integrated a theory based approach to coaching alongside continue coaching development with the SFA.
